AppDynamics secures $158m, expands partner ecosystem and improves services

AppDynamics, the app intelligence provider, recently announced that it had closed a financing round of $158m led by General Atlantic and Altimeter Capital. In addition, the company signed a co-engineering, co-marketing and co-sales agreement with a series of partners in order to expand the reach of its app intelligence services.

AppDynamics’Application Intelligence Platform enables businesses to ensure their apps perform and satisfy user experience. Its features improve DevOps collaboration for faster delivery and enhanced analytical insight for better decision making. The partner ecosystem, which includes a growing number of cloud services, tech as well as solution providers lets partners respond faster to end-user requirements.

Adding to a stream of releases and announcements, AppDynamics further said it had made major enhancements to its end-user capabilities as part of its Winter ’16 Release. The update provides support for mobile and browser real-user monitoring, letting enterprises trace the digital user journey and correlate actions such as mobile screen views to app performance.
