App marketer Dataseat raises $2.3 million on second funding round

Technology start-up Dataseat which helps advertisers to manage mobile app campaigns in-house has recently raised $2.3 million in a second funding round.

The company is being backed by Play Ventures, and Saatchiinvest.

According to a funding announcement, Criteo’s Eric Eichmann and CPO Jonathan Wolf also participated.

The company’s clients include major gaming app makers such as Social Point which created “Dragon City” and “Monster Legends”, and Jam City which created “Panda Pop”.

Dataseat launched just 12 months ago to reach global brands that license its demand side platform for programmatic media.

Among its platform features the company provides programmatic media buying to stop campaigns from being rebrokered.

It also provides full transparency and control for data use, and Dataseat’s platform integrates custom prediction and bidding algorithms for app developers and marketers.
