Mobile-first video mediation platform AerServ, has been selected by game network WildTangent to provide its mobile advertising services and SSP for some of their 1,000 mobile games. Following an initial run of AerServ’s SSP on WildTangent, the companies noted fill rates rising 32%.

The partnership comes at a time when mobile gaming is predicted to continue to grow, with 77% of mobile phone users playing games on their devices at least once a month by 2020.
As part of the deal, WildTangent integrates AerServ’s monetisation tools whilst allowing marketers to execute their campaigns on brand-safe, viewability and fraud-free inventory.
Prior to AerServ, the game maker was using a homemade solution for its monetisation. However, it frequently showed ads form competitor games and required developers to have their own resources to create certain features. Hence, the company searched for a better solution that would also allow for rewarded video ads, demand partners via VAST and VPAID and offer more transparent insights on measurements.
