AdTapsy, the mobile ad revenue accelerator, yesterday announced Rewarded Video Mediation for app publishers. In-app ads, which prompt users to opt-in in exchange for a reward are being supported by ad networks AdColony, Applovin, Chartboost and AdMob.

“Although app developers can earn decent amounts from in-app purchases, the majority of app users never pay for virtual goods. Now it is the perfect time to bring AdTapsy Rewarded Video Mediation as an addition to their current revenue stream. Rewarded Video Ads are perfect monetization substitute for in-app purchases specifically for nonpaying users, which are usually more than 95% from the total user base!”

Having partnered with AdColony, Applovin, Chartboost and AdMob means that publishers can show their rewarded videos from four different ad providers, providing a higher fill rate for videos. In addition, AdTapsy technology provides better prioritisation with its eCPM Autopilot. Better prioritisation yields a higher revenue.

Ary Tebeka, CEO and founder,  TenTal Software, iTunes apps publisher, says:

“Before AdTapsy I was juggling manually between various ad networks, sometimes during my own kind of mediation inapp. AdTapsy made it much easier from the beginning to use many Ad networks. The killer feature for me was eCPM autopilot. Now I consistently get a good revenue from my apps without wasting time optimising things myself.”

The new tool turns AdTapsy into a one-stop shop mobile ad mediation platform, enabling publishers to monetise their apps using ad formats including static interstitials, video interstitials and rewarded videos – all in a single SDK.
