Yahoo has announced it will hold a mobile developer conference on August 26 in New York, following a successful inaugural San Francisco event held back in February. Announced on the company’s official Tumblr page, the post states that since the first mobile developer conference, it has held several mobile-focused meet-ups in various cities around the world, including London, Toronto, and Delhi.
Yahoo will hold its second mobile developer conference in late August, when it will run for two days
Visitors to the conference are told to expect the opportunity to, “connect with product leaders from Flurry, Tumblr, BrightRoll, and Yahoo.” Sessions will run over the course of the two-day event, and although a timetable hasn’t been announced, they will cover subjects such as app monetization, promotion, and data measurement.
Yahoo is accepting requests for an invitation through a dedicated website, but hasn’t disclosed how many spaces are available, so it you’re interested, it would be wise not to wait. On August 25, the day before the mobile developer conference opens its doors, Yahoo says it will host its “first-ever mobile hackathon.” Details of this event, along with more on the conference, are sure to be shared over the coming weeks.
