Modo Labs, a studio that specializes in apps made for use by universities and education establishments, has announced version 2.5 of its Kurogo development platform. It includes a variety of new features, which make app development simple for non-technical staff.

The company says the new version is even simpler to use, and has integrated the following features:

  • Theme Builder: Automatically apply new color schemes across the entire app for a branded look, complete with icons, typography, and images.
  • Launchpad: Create responsive landing pages with complete icon sets and a magazine-style layout.
  • Enhanced Messaging: Targeted banners help deliver messages to users.
  • Transit notifications: Using pre-built transportation information systems, the platform enables alerts for public transport arrivals.

Moda Labs has introduced Kurogo 2.5, the latest version of its app building platform

Stewart Elliot, Moda Labs’ CEO, said:

“Modo Labs occupies a unique place in the app development market. Unlike other quick app builder products with limited features and cookie-cutter user interfaces, Modo Labs enables customers to create powerful and beautifully branded mobile experiences that inspire loyalty amongst students, employees and customers. And unlike custom mobile development projects, apps developed on the Kurogo Platform can be deployed quickly and inexpensively using your existing staff. Kurogo 2.5 is another leap forward, ensuring that our customers can easily create one-of-a-kind apps that both make a statement and provide their organizations with an exceptional level of mobile functionality.”
