true[X] provides digital metrics and more as part of its platform
Matt Howe, Vice President of business development, true[X], explains:
“Over 40% of teens and young adults in the U.S. are using Kik to connect and communicate with their friends, but this is a demographic that’s becoming harder and harder to reach through traditional advertising. We’re excited to provide new ways for brands to connect with them in a compelling, engaging way that respects their time and attention as we bring our technology to the fast-growing mobile messaging world for the first time.”
The partnership enables users to earn additional Kik Points, the rewards programme that exchanges digital goods for consumer action on the Kik app. Users redeem points by interacting with 15-second interactive ads that are powered by true[X].
Josh Jacobs, President, Kik Services, adds:
“Kik users are deeply engaged, with each other and with the brands they love. Kik Points provides marketers an authentic way to interact one-on-one with teens, while providing additional value in the form of Points. true[X] helps power an entry point for these brands that fuels additional downstream engagement: 30% of Kik users continue to engage with brands in non-rewarded calls to action after completing a rewards-based interaction.”
