Tapjoy and ironSource partner to provide better app monetisation integration

Tapjoy, the mobile monetisation platform, has partnered with app discovery platform ironSource to combine Tapjoy user level segmentation and predictive analytics with ironSource’s video mediation solution. That combination aims to help mobile app developers create a smooth user experience whilst monetising their ads.

The partnership also means that ironSource video ad mediation developers get to tap Tapjoy’s premium brand advertisers.
Social casino games provider, GSN Games, is one of the first to test ride the new offering and commented on the opportunity to access video ad experiences that include a reward for consumers.

As part of the integration, the companies are offering two pathways for developers. The Platform Integration option uses Tapjoy’s SDK and gives publishers access to the company’s LTV infrastructure for yield management between contextual marketing messages and ironSource video ad network demand. That means, developers can analyse consumer behaviour in real-time, manage their in-app spending, drive engagement and merchandising, and ensure campaigns also cater to non-paying customers.
The Adapter Integration on the other hand utilises the ironSource SDK to access Tapjoy’s video ad demand. The SDK is compatible with most leading ad network adapters and gives developers access to multi-demand sources whilst staying in one platform. It optimises demand, creates an ad marketplace and aims to maximise revenue by boosting fill rates and eCPMs.
