Keeping up with the competition, Snapchat has now added GIF stickers from the Giphy library to allow users to add them to their posts. The company launched the feature just a few weeks after Instagram rolled out similar features to Stories.
Android and iOS users simply choose a GIF sticker from the ‘Sticker’ section after they shoot a video or take a photo. Snapchat also lets them scale the stickers and add multiples.
In addition to GIF, Snapchat is also launching a Tabs feature to help users keep their Stories organised and keep up with those on Friends and Discover pages.
The update lets users check out active Stories from friends. In addition, group chats, subscriptions for publishers, creators and the community in Discover can be looked into.
The feature is being launched to iOS users first. Android users will be getting the update over the coming weeks.
