Sauce Labs has announced it will open a cloud-based mobile app testing facility in the near future. Called The Real Device Cloud, it’s designed to help developers automate the testing of apps, resulting in faster mobile app tests.

The system will provide developers with access to many popular mobile devices running Android and iOS, with Sauce Labs targeting 80 emulators and simulators available over the coming months. However, it’ll initially launch with the iPhone 6, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 devices.

Native, mobile, and hybrid apps can be tested, and multiple tests can be run in parallel to save time. The platform will provide access to backend databases, complete data reports, and features specific to the Enterprise — inducing SSO integration, and provision testing. Sauce Labs will also help train developers on its use.

The Read Device Cloud will launch as a beta program at the end of September, and you can sign up for access here.
