SDK management and security platform SafeDK has announced $2.25m in new funding, and the launch of its in-app protection system, and accompanying marketplace. Investment comes from a selection of individuals, along with StageOne VC.

The SafeDK system is designed to give developers more control and comprehensive information on the SDKs used in their apps. The SafeDK plug-in integrates itself with installed SDKs, showing statistics, issues, app security and permission controls, plus individual options to activate or deactivate individual SDKs.

SafeDK operates a marketplace with SDKs, and has raised $2.25m in funding to launch its in-app SDK protection system

Furthermore, SDKs are updated with a single click, without the need to push through entire version updates, which are sent to all devices automatically through the SafeDK dashboard. The SafeDK marketplace contains SDKs which are reviewed and rated, providing developers with a place to not only promote their SDKs, but also for customers to find the best options for their apps.

Orly Shoavi, SafeDK’s CEO, said:

“We are so thrilled to be launching SafeDK as a holistic solution. We are the developers’ companion for the entire app development journey: From finding the right SDKs in our marketplace to ongoing in-app protection and real-time control. SafeDK’s cutting-edge technology is the only proactive solution that combines post-production, high feature coverage with real-time solutions. We’re looking forward to growing our community of both developers and SDKs.”
