Moxtra has announced the launch of its new SDK, which lets developers integrate its communication and collaboration layer across their apps.
Moxtra already runs its own project collaboration app that’s available on the App Store and its new SDK brings the functionality of that platform to other developers. The Moxtra SDK includes Moxtra Chat, for rich messaging, Moxtra Meet for meeting and screen sharing, and Moxtra Draw for annotation over app screens.
The company says developers can integrate these features in a matter of days “instead of years.” The SDK obviously aimed more at productivity app devs, allowing them to offer collaboration and communication when working on documents and projects.
Moxtra CEO Subrah Iyar said:
“Users are looking for in-context communication and collaboration experiences to get things done effectively and efficiently,” said Subrah Iyar, co-founder and CEO of Moxtra. “With the Moxtra SDK, we make it simple to deliver in-context experiences for our partners. We worked closely with over 20 early access partners over the past few quarters to make sure our SDK is easy to implement. I am excited to officially launch our SDK today and thankful for the support and enthusiasm of our early access partners.”
Moxtra’s app in action
Moxtra says its SDK is already used bunch of app developers and deployed in productivity apps such as ChemDraw, fluig, PhatPad and iFile Browser.
“Our high demanding government, police and security enterprise clients are looking for state-of-the-art, essential communications systems that quickly can pull together people and information in one focused activity. Meet is an essential and powerful communications mechanism that complements the Crowdsoft One hub system’s Extended Video Management (EVM), analytics, roles-based case files, and API feature integration capabilities.”
