Mobile brand advertiser, Kargo, just appointed Lizzie Black as its new Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, East.
Kargo appoints new VP of Strategic Partnerships, East
Black will be managing new and continued business with some of the industry’s leading agencies and trading desks. Her focus is on the East Coast region. She will be based in the New York headquarters and report directly to Senior Vice President of Sales, East, Kevin Canty.
Black joins Kargo, having held various positions at Hearst, Bauer, Meredith and Valassis. Her extensive publishing and ad business experience will help her foster business strategies and develop new global partnerships for Kargo.
More recently, she acted as Regional Vice President for the East Coast at Federated Media and was responsible for leading new business efforts for the content marketing company.

Kargo creates rich media campaigns for over 200 brands (including Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Verizon and L’Oréal), but has also partnered with a network of over 300 top publishers such as Hearst, The New York Times and CBS Interactive. The company reaches an audience that rivals Google and Facebook in scale.
Black will be joining the company after a solid year of business for Kargo, exceeding $100m in revenue and expanding internationally as well as launching its first mobile ad research initiative. She says:
