MediaBrix, the mobile advertising company, has partnered with mobile games developer Playdots to bring branded advertising to its mobile game Two Dots.
MediaBrix partners with Playdots for in-app branded ads
MediaBrix offers a series of in-app solutions to help developers monetise on their apps. It’s product suite consists of Rally (motivate users), Reward (offer in-app user benefits) and Rescue (drive action).
The integration with Playdots follows a string of recently announced app partnerships with Under Armor, Kik and Sega.
Ari Brandt, CEO and Co-founder, MediaBrix, says:
“We are thrilled to welcome Two Dots to our diversified portfolio of app publishers, continuing to offer our brands new, high quality, engaging content to reach their consumers. Two Dots has a huge, sophisticated audience that is highly coveted by Fortune 500 brands. We’re excited to help them monetize in a way that enhances user experience and encourages game play with more access to content. That way, the brands, the publisher, and the users all win.”
Two Dots will utilise MediaBrix’s Rescue ad unit to launch contextual, premium in-app rewards to users. Dots has over 75m downloads and in-app goods are usually at premium, which makes this a much sought-after addition.
Paul Murphy, CEO of Playdots, Inc, adds:
“We’ve always been very selective in our search for advertising partners, and MediaBrix offers the best solutions when it comes to balancing app monetization with respect for users. MediaBrix will be the key conduit bringing top brands into the Two Dots experience in a responsible and sustainable way. It’s a partnership a long time in the making, ever since a MediaBrix executive saw my wife playing Dots on the subway nearly two years ago!”
