MaxPlay, a technology company, has announced The Game Development Suite, which as the name suggests is made for developers building mobile games. The difference is, MaxPlay’s system is a collaborative tool aimed at developers working remotely around the world.
The cloud-based engine is described by CEO Sinjin Bain as “Google Docs for developers,” and is versatile enough for developers specialising in specific areas to work together, at the same time, on the same project.
MaxPlay’s new game development platform is made for remote collaboration between developers
According to Bain, script changes appear in real time, and across the entire system from the editor, to the preview, and even the platform. He added that The Game Development Suite negates the need to spread daily software builds to many developers.
It’s compatible with Android, iOS, and PC games, and will operate natively and locally, but MaxPlay’s servers will allow the collaborative features. Keep a watch on MaxPlay’s site for news on an Early Access program.
