Kargo expands team
Kargo has been busy this year, opening a new office in the UK in April. It also reached the $100m revenue mark in 2015 and received some praise for its growth from Inc., Business Insider and Crain’s New York Business.
Harry Kargman, Founder & CEO of Kargo, says:
“Kargo’s focus on quality extends beyond building premium mobile ads that consumers actually want to engage with to the talented international employees that we hire and retain. We’re excited to have Oliver, Arthur, Graeme and Luke on our team to continue expanding the quality mobile advertising tools Kargo clients have come to expect into the UK market and beyond.”
Oliver Clamp joins Kargo from Millennial Media where he held the position of Vice President of International, Global Monetisation, followed by Senior Director of International Mobile Supply at AOL after it acquired Millennial in 2015. Clamp is in a good position to help Kargo expand its Global Publisher network that includes MailOnline and Hearst UK.
Arthur Cole has spent a decade within advertising, holding various roles including positions at MySpace, Hearst, Rhythm New Media, Appealing Media, YuME, and most recently as the VP of EMEA Operations at Videology Inc. At Kargo, he will manage international products and clients to bolster the company’s international expansion.
Graeme Finneberg joins Kargo from ESI Media where he served as Digital Commercial Director. He’ll be building relationships with agencies and clients to further Kargo’s presence in the UK.
Luke Baker reports to Finneberg to help drive the UK business. He worked at Apple and Microsoft before joining Kargo.
Both are reporting to Owen Hanks, recently named General Manager, International, at Kargo. Hanks says:
“Marketing clients and their agencies in the UK are hiring Kargo because they have a large appetite for digital and mobile advertising beyond what Facebook and Google offer. Our expanding team of business growth and development experts in London, which now includes these four talented employees, will help meet the needs of Kargo’s growing global business.”
