Adsmovil, the mobile advertising provider for the US Hispanic market, just announced the appointment of Andrew Polsky as new Senior VP and Head of US Sales.
Adsmovil, which is part of Cisneros Interactive, provides mobile ad solutions in the US for the Hispanic, Brazilian, Mexican, Colombian, Argentinan and Latin American markets. It utilises Latin content and digital platforms to engage users within these regions.
Sales of the company shot up over 50% in 2015. Adsmovil also entered a partnership with Sizmek, TailTarget and PubMatic in 2015 and opened an office in Spain. In April 2015, it rolled out the Adsmovil Ad Exchange, which focusses entirely on Hispanics. For some of its recent campaigns, it won a Gold Smartie, a FOMLA and two bronze Smarties.
Polsky joins the company from Pulpo Media, where he was SVP of sales and managed a team of national sales directors driving the ad network’s revenue growth for desktop, mobile, programmatic and data solutions. Prior to that, he led the digital division at Spanish Broadcasting System as VP of digital media. At Adsmovil, he will be based in NYC.
Alberto Pardo, CEO, Adsmovil, says:
“Marketers know that if they want real growth, they need to appeal to Hispanic Americans. Andrew’s broad experience with the US Hispanic market will help Adsmovil accelerate its growth in the most important US markets: New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.”
