Google, this week, has begun to highlight Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) in its search results. The company founded AMP last year in an effort to help speed up web page load times on mobile devices. Over the last four months, it successfully added publishers and other companies to take part and join the mission.
Now, AMP has been officially released. In effect, that means when you search for a topic on Google using a mobile device, AMP pages will appear across the top stories and load up to four times faster than other content, using 10x less data.

Due to the open-source nature of the project, publishers can easily integrate it. WordPress.com, which Mobyaffiliates is published on, also stated support for AMP. In addition, it is being supported by ad networks and analytical services to ensure publishers can still monitor their campaigns.
For Google, AMP is about more than speeding up the mobile web. Only by offering a great user experience, Google can ensure the web doesn’t loose out to apps on mobile.
