SignalShare, the consumer engagement solution for venues and events, has entered a strategic partnership with fantasy sports operator, DraftKings, to reach mobile users during sporting events.

The deal gives DraftKings access to SignalShare’s consumer engagement platform to utilise its wireless networks at sports stadiums, to allow advertisers to place content in front of fans on mobile devices during the event. Once participants log on, SignalShare will display a DraftKings ad during an event. The company will host marketing content during the opening weeks of North America’s NHL ice hockey and NBA basketball seasons.
Jeremy Elbaum, VP of Business Development, DraftKings, says:
“The SignalShare consumer engagement platform opens the door for innovative advertising opportunities and greater connectivity to our customers. We look forward to leveraging the SignalShare platform to expand our business, continue building a user base and introduce a new world of fantasy sports to existing sports fans.”
The deal enables DraftKings to reach consumers who are already engaging with their mobile phones during events to check statistics, upload photos and communicate with others. In addition, SignalShare provides full analytics of the type of customer viewing an ad, to help tailor campaigns in the future.
Aaron Dobrinsky, Chief Executive, SignalShare, adds:
“Through this partnership, DraftKings is able to reach and engage with audiences in a way they’ve never been able to before: by appearing directly on fans’ mobile devices when they’re most invested in sports. As a result, fans have access to a stream of timely, relevant advertising content and advertisers like DraftKings are able to get in front of thousands of potential leads.”
