Digital Turbine, the maker of mobile user acquisition network Appia, recently announced a multi-year agreement with telecoms company, AT&T, to utilise Digital Turbine’s Ignite solution to help improve app discovery on Android devices. Ignite lets mobile operators deliver apps to mobile devices from the cloud via zero-rated data, reducing lead times. Operators are able to deliver the right app at the right time, improving user engagement.
Ignite by Digital Turbine powers app discovery
The app management solution is flexible and includes advanced stats and insights to improve knowledge of user preferences. Ignite currently powers over 40m app installs with over 20 of the leading mobile operators worldwide.
Bill Stone, CEO, Digital Turbine, adds:
“We are excited to work with AT&T on this launch and extend our footprint across the North American wireless market. Ignite simplifies the app delivery process for mobile operators and features a new startup wizard that provides end users options and access to more relevant and up-to-date apps and recommendations. Our goal is to create engaging user experiences by delivering the right app to the right device at the right time, all around the world.”
Digital Turbine also powers Appia, the mobile marketing platform designed to perform with quality and scale for advertisers, monetise effectively for publishers, and enhance the end-user experience. Appia has delivered over 115m app installs. It works with over 70% of the 100 top grossing apps on the iOS and Google Play Store as well as Android and iOS inventory in over 200 countries. Preload slots, offered through unique carrier partnerships, enable brands to have their app installed on new devices during the setup process.
