Cheetah Mobile, the mobile Internet company known for producing a range of apps including Clean Master and Battery Doctor, has launched the Cheetah Ad Platform. The mobile advertising platform is aimed at a global audience, and designed to work with a wide range of brand advertisers, publishers and developers.
Cheetah Mobile, best known for its mobile apps, has now launched its own mobile ad platform
The Cheetah Ad Platform brings together Cheetah’s existing apps and its MediaLink mobile ad network, which is a rebranding of MobPartner’s tech — creating a complete ad solution for clients. Cheetah Mobile acquired MobPartner earlier this year.
Xinhua Liu, Cheetah Mobile’s CMO, said:
“Our goal is to become one of the leading global mobile advertising platforms. The launch of the Cheetah Ad Platform will rapidly accelerate our progress toward this objective. We look forward to providing our state-of-the-art mobile ad technology to our partners and helping them achieve their goals within the mobile ecosystem.”
Additionally, former MobPartner CEO and now SVP for worldwide sales at Cheetah Mobile, Djamel Agaoua, said:
“We are building one of the most robust mobile advertising platforms in the world. The Cheetah Ad Platform gives advertisers and publishers full transparency into inventory, ad placements, and performance. Advertisers can broaden their reach with confidence and capitalize on a massive global consumer audience. Our robust measurement, targeting, and optimization solutions are designed to deliver against key performance indicators, such as return on investment and consumer lifetime value for advertisers.”
Cheetah Mobile confirmed that its mobile apps have been installed by 1.34 billion users, and it has a monthly active user base of 440 million. It has been growing its mobile ad business for a while, and states that this year, 89% of its total mobile revenue came from ads, which in turn accounted for 48% of the company’s total overall revenue.
