App deep linking company Branch Metrics has completed its Series B funding round, raising $35m with Founders Fund leading the way, joined by names including New Enterprise Associates, Cowboy Ventures, Madrona Venture Group, and various others. This follows $15m funding gathered in March 2015.
Branch Metrics creates deep links for use in mobile apps, and has raised $35m in new funding
Scott Nolan, a partner at Founders Fund and new member of Branch Metrics board, said:
“Branch has become the standard for linking in the mobile ecosystem. For a company that is just over a year old, that is an incredible achievement made possible by superior technology and relentless execution. As the clear leader in deep linking, Branch is perfectly positioned to help change the way people discover apps.”
The investment will be used to promote deep linking technology and Branch Metrics service, plus to further develop app content discovery products made possible using deep linking. The company said it now handles more than 25 billion API calls each month, and more than 1.6 billion deep links have been created using its technology.
