Business app experts Appeon has teamed up with SAP to create a new, major version of the PowerBuilder app development platform, which will include mobile and cloud deployment features, along with strong app testing options.
Appeon will develop a new version of SAP’s PowerBuilder app platform
Appeon has been working on PowerBuilder apps for many years, while PowerBuilder has been around since the early 90s, and it has recently added the ability to convert existing projects over for use on Android and iOS devices.
Armeen Mazda, Appeon’s CEO, said:
“PowerBuilder has a very loyal following, and I think that’s because very few development stacks out there can deliver a high level of developer productivity while producing apps with such rich functionality and UX. All of us at Appeon are very passionate about PowerBuilder, and we are very excited to finally get our hands on this wonderful technology. Thanks to SAP, we are now in a position to do so much more than before.”
It’ll be Appeon’s job to develop, sell, and support its PowerBuilder platform, which it expects to release during the first half of 2017. Visit the company’s website for more details.
